Snorkel Presents New and Updated Products at The Rental Show
Snorkel presented several new and re-designed products at the recent Rental Show in Orlando, Fla., including an updated A38E all-electric articulated self-propelled boomlift, adding a new control system. The enhanced controller retains the smooth lift and drive performance of the A38E, but makes it easier for service engineers to diagnose faults and troubleshoot, Snorkel said.
Snorkel also introduced the ANSI-specification version of the new Snorkel S3970RT at the show. The compact rough-terrain scissorlift is designed for working in confined spaces such as in-between buildings.
Built on Snorkel’s SRT chassis, the unit provides a maximum platform height of 37 feet, 8 inches, but it only 5 feet, 10 inches wide and 10 feet, 10 inches long. It can lift up to 771 pounds.
The S3970RT joins two established products in the Snorkel SRT series: the 33-foot S3370RT and the 27-foot S2770RT. Like the others, the unit is powered by a Kubota diesel engine and is available with a petrol engine, propane or combination.
Snorkel also launched the EZ loader series of delivery trucks at The Rental Show. The truck beds are designed specifically for transporting lifting equipment. The hydraulic ramp deploys in only 17 seconds. The product line consists of the EZ12, EZ18 and EZ24. The EZ12 has a bed capacity of 12,000 pounds, the EZ18 18,000 pounds, and the EZ24 24,000 pounds.
The trucks feature chrome wheel covers, air ride seats on the driver’s side, locking differential, air brakes, tilt and telescopic steering wheels and more.
