Wynne Systems Launches RapidCount: A Game-Changing Inventory Management Solution
Wynne Systems, a global leader in rental software solutions, launches RapidCount, a digital inventory management solution for RentalMan designed to meet the complex needs of the equipment rental industry.
RapidCount streamlines inventory counts for parts, merchandise, and equipment, making it easy for rental companies to count faster and more frequently. A study recently showed that RapidCount reduces the time it takes to accurately conduct daily inventory cycle counts by 50 percent.

· Automated task assignment: Managers send tasks directly to employees in RapidCount’s desktop environment in Wynne Hub. Assignments can even be automated, such as assigning routine part counts to branch mechanics.
· Mobile app: After assignment, employees get tasks posted directly on their mobile devices via the Wynne Mobile application available in iOS and Android. A simple tap allows them to start counting and updating inventory in real time.
· Barcode integration: Employees scan barcodes on items and equipment to quickly and accurately identify items for count updates.
· Streamlined reporting: Inventory updates flow directly to RentalMan and Reporter, allowing users to generate comprehensive reports that guide stock level decisions and help identify discrepancies.
Speaking on the future of this new RentalMan solution, Richmond says, “As it sits today, RapidCount is an extremely effective platform for improving rental, parts and merchandise inventory management but there are even more features and functionality we plan to introduce in the future.”
These future features include:
- An inventory dashboard that will highlight inventory imbalances, provide demand forecasting capabilities, and automate branch transfers.
- A purchasing module that will include standardized purchasing, allow companies to store preferred suppliers, and automate purchasing.
