Xtreme Manufacturing and Snorkel has named Tony Deatherage service manager – The Americas. The promotion of Deatherage closely follows the recent appointment of Jamie Graham as vice president of product support. Deatherage has more than 23 years of experience in technical service and training at Snorkel.
Deatherage started out as an assembly technician working on 80- and 120-foot Snorkel boomlifts, and has worked at various positions with the company, including service manager at Snorkel’s manufacturing facility in Elwood, Kan., with responsibility for North America.
Deatherage will be responsible for the Xtreme brand of telehandlers as well as Snorkel, reporting directly to Graham. Deatherage will be tasked with the management and coordination of the day-to-day after-sales support requirements throughout the region, including management of regional field support teams, service training, warranty and distribution of technical documentation. He will also work with Xtreme and Snorkel manufacturing facilities to implement processes and develop communications channels to ensure a cohesive approach between field and production.
Matthew Elvin, CEO of Xtreme Manufacturing and Snorkel referred to Deatherage as “our go-to person for technical support.”
