Japanese pump manufacturer Tsurumi has established a wholly owned French rental company, worldpumps.com is reporting. Tsurumi Pompes Location SAS has opened its first depot in Strasbourg.
Tsurumi has been present in the French market for many years through its subsidiary CE2A – Tsurumi France. With TPL, the company will serve its customers’ distribution and rental requirements directly. To support its operation and growth in France, Tsurumi Europe GmbH also acquired a majority stake in Marine Motors & Pumps NV, its Belgian distributor.
MMPumps will continue to run the business, selling and renting pumps for the Belgian market and will also become indirectly involved in the French rental market through cross-renting pumps to TPL.
