The units will immediately be put to work on the largest ever infrastructure project in South Australia.

Skyjack has received an order for 40 vertical mast lifts from Force Australia, a leading aerial equipment provider in Australia. The units will immediately be put to work on the largest ever infrastructure project in South Australia. The new vertical mast lifts will be delivered to Adelaide, one of 16 locations in the Force national network.

Their first job will be on the construction of the new Royal Adelaide Hospital, a healthcare facility being built for the South Australian state government.

The SJ 12 machines have a work height of 5.48 meters, while the SJ 16 units have a 6.58-meter work height. The lifts have 30-percent gradeability, a zero inside turning radius, variable speed hydraulic drive and proportional controls, with solid, non-marking tires as standard.

Founded in May 1994, Force Access recently named Paul McGlone CEO, whose experience includes 10 years with Brambles Ltd.

Earlier this year Skyjack delivered a number of SJIII 3226 scissorlifts to Force Australia. Skyjack is headquartered in Guelph, Ontario, Canada.
