Sims Crane, a leading Florida-based crane and equipment provider, has appointed Ryan Camp as vice president – corporate services. Camp is responsible for all enterprise sourcing, procurement and supplier relations, as well as fleet asset management and business development.

Camp brings more than 14 years of experience to Sims Crane with proven expertise in management, auditing, strategic sourcing, procurement, finance, and mergers and acquisitions.

Most recently, Camp held a succession of management positions in supply chain management during his 10 years at Duke Energy, one of the largest electric utilities in the United States. Prior to that, he was a senior auditor for Ernst and Young, LLP, one of the Big 4 accounting firms in the nation.

Also, Sims named Art Gilfus as regional area manager in Orlando. In this role, Gilfus will handle daily management of sales, operations and customer relationships for the Central Florida region as well as attainment of long-term business goals and objectives.

Gilfus brings to his new position more than 20 years of managerial and crane industry experience. Most recently, he was general manager at Platte Valley Equipment, a John Deere dealership with multiple locations in Nebraska. Gilfus also has notable crane industry experience, serving as the North America sales manager for Demag Mobile Cranes in Zweibrucken, Germany, and vice president at Ringhaver’s Southeastern Crane Division in Tampa, Fla.
