Bigge Crane and Rigging recently opened a new Denver location that offers bare rough-terrain and crawler crane leasing in the Rockies region. The Denver terminal provides a logical waypoint between established Bigge locations in Salt Lake City and the company’s fast-growing regional headquarters in Houston, the company said.
Bigge has eight cranes on three distinct industrial projects, including a refinery in Sayre, Okla.; rough-terrain and crawler cranes at a gas plant project in Hugeta, Kan.; and is also supplying a pipeline job in Miller, Mo., with cranes. The geographic proximity of Bigge’s location in Denver from its Houston headquarters was instrumental in providing the logistical support, transportation and field support for these projects.
“Based on our reputation, we’ve always fielded requests to send cranes to projects in the plains states but haven’t been price competitive to local providers,” said John Krane, equipment leasing manager. “With our locations in Denver and the added capacity to our Houston branch, we can cost effectively service without sacrificing the excellence for which Bigge has always been known.”
Bigge’s crane rental fleet has more than 350 machines, available both bare lease and operated, as well as maintained rentals. Bigge provides all our customers with dedicated project managers, factory-trained technicians, and field support, and has 13 locations nationwide, in addition to a strategic network of service locations.
