Fenton, Mo.-based Caterpillar dealer Fabick Co. is sending portable generators to areas hit by Hurricane Earl, ksdk.com in St. Louis has reported. Chuck Justus, general manager of Fabick Power Systems Rental, has spearheaded the program supplying generators large enough to supply power to more than 4,000 homes.
Justus said his company has equipment spread from Oklahoma City to Houston to the Gulf of Mexico, where its generators have helped with the oil leak cleanup, and now to the East Coast.
