JLG shipped more than 100 of the units to Cashman.
“This is a big day for Caterpillar and JLG,” said Scott Cooper, Caterpillar marketing manager for the telehandler alliance group for North and South America. “The new telehandlers are tailored to the needs of contractors in North America, and they are fully supported by Caterpillar — parts, inventory, service warranties and Cat Financial programs. These machines are even shipping ahead of schedule.”
Cashman’s order is the largest so far for the new units. “We are replacing the existing rental fleet composed of the last generation of Caterpillar telehandlers,” said Todd Gilligan, sales manager, southern region for Cashman. “We also are planning to increase our market share in sales and rental, especially in the Las Vegas and Reno areas.”
