Safway Services has acquired Atlantic Hoisting & Scaffolding LLC, the largest provider of scaffolding and hoisting in the New York City area. The acquisition strengthens Safway’s market presence and expertise in metropolitan high-rise scaffolding. Atlantic is based in Carlstadt, N.J., and has been serving the commercial construction industry in New York City for more than 50 years. The company is known for designing and providing access services for complex high-rise projects.
Atlantic provides services to customers through all phases of construction, with in-house engineers and designers working alongside on-site fabricators and carpenters. Atlantic has worked on a wide range of projects in the New York City area such as the September 11 Memorial Museum, Freedom Tower, the Jacob K. Javits convention Center renovation, the United Nations building and the JP Morgan Chase headquarters.
