RDO Equipment Co. has created a new rental brand called RDO Rents, demonstrating the company’s expanding rental operations. The main office is in the former B&B Heavy Construction Equipment Rental building in Lakeside, Calif. The RDO Rents brand is currently used in construction stores in Southern California and the Southwest, including Riverside and Lakeside, Calif.; Flagstaff, Phoenix, Prescott and Tucson, Ariz.; and Austin, Fort Worth, Irving, Laredo, San Antonio and Waco, Texas. RDO will also relocate the John Deere Poway store to the Lakeside location before the end of the year.
The RDO Rents brand will also be introduced in the company’s Southwest agriculture stores including Imperial, Indio, Salinas and Watsonville, Calif.; and Ehrenberg, Wellton and Yuma, Ariz.
“Our company’s promise to support the rent-to-rent business has increased significantly and this new brand of RDO Rents will allow us to provide total solutions for our customers,” said Dennis Howard, director of rental operations.
RDO Rents provides late-model John Deere construction and agriculture equipment, as well as competitive models.
Gary Young will remain as general manager for the combined RDO Equipment Co. and RDO Rents store at Lakeside. “Combining the Poway and Lakeside locations allows us to better serve all our customers by fully capitalizing on the state-of-the-art Lakeside facility,” Young said. “Streamlining our processes will make us a better business partner and easier to do business with.”
The Lakeside store also represents Vermeer, Hitachi, Sakai and Topcon.
RDO Equipment Co. is based in Fargo, N.D. and has more than 50 sales and service locations in nine states.
