The Wacker Neuson Group increased 2013 group revenue 6 percent in fiscal 2013 to €1.16 billion (about U.S. $1.6 billion), according to preliminary figures. The company said revenue rose 8 percent but the numbers partly dampened by exchange rate fluctuations. The company said it expanded its market share at the national and international levels.

All three of its business segments – light equipment, compact equipment and services – reported a rise in revenues. Revenue increased in Europe and the Americas. The Asia-Pacific region, however, dropped slightly because of market downturns in Australia and New Zealand.

EBITDA was about €153 million, compared to €142 million in 2012, and EBITDA margin improved from 13 percent to 13.2 percent.

For the fourth quarter, preliminary group revenue jumped 6.5 percent year over year and by 7.5 percent compared to the third quarter.

Wacker Neuson expects positive growth in 2014. The Munich-based company will be reporting its official finalized numbers at the end of March. Wacker Neuson has its U.S. headquarters in Menomonee Falls, Wis.
