United Rentals Expects $4.6 Billion to $4.7 Billion in Pro-Forma 2012 Revenue

United Rentals today announced it expects full-year 2012 pro-forma total revenue in a range between $4.6 billion and $4.7 billion, compared to 2011 pro-forma total revenue of $4.133 billion.

United Rentals today announced it expects full-year 2012 pro-forma total revenue in a range between $4.6 billion and $4.7 billion, compared to 2011 pro-forma total revenue of $4.133 billion. The company also said it expects full-year 2012 pro-forma adjusted EBITDA in the range of $1.95 billion to $2 billion, compared to 2011 pro-forma adjusted EBITDA of $1.49 billion.

United Rentals completed the acquisition of RSC Holdings on April 30 of this year. The pro-forma guidance assumes the results of operations as if the companies were combined for the full-year 2011 and 2012.

United also reaffirmed its 2012 pro-forma outlook to include an increase in rental rates of about 6.5 percent year over year and time utilization of 68 percent. It also reaffirmed net rental capital expenditures of between $1.075 billion and $1.125 billion, after gross purchases of between $1.5 billion and $1.6 billion. It also reaffirmed full-year free-cash usage – excluding the impact of merger-related costs – in the range of $90 million to $140 billion.
