June Resale and Quicksale Values Decline in June

EquipmentWatch has released its new Green Guide values for the month of June, during which time resale (private) prices decreased .08 percent, while public auction prices decreased month over month by .06 percent.

Through Equipment Watch’s new ValueTrend Engine, it is able to update values monthly for more than 10,000 construction equipment models per month.

Electric self-propelled scissorlifts prices went contrary to trend, increasing 2.48 percent on the resale market and 1.74 percent on the auction market. Also pneumatic-tire lift trucks increased 0.25 percent and 0.17 percent.

Four-wheel drive articulated wheel loaders dropped 4.11 percent in the resale market and 2.46 percent in quicksale.

Taking a quick look at other categories, compact track loaders declined 2.11 percent and 1.48 percent; crawler mounted compact excavators plunged 3.01 percent and 2.1 percent; crawler-mounted hydraulic excavators declined 3.64 percent and 2.55 percent; skid-steer loaders dropped 0.93 percent and 0.56 percent; standard crawler dozers fell 2.66 percent and 1.86 percent, telescoping boom rough terrain lift trucks dropped 1.04 percent and 0.73 percent, and tractor-loader-backhoes declined 3.3 percent and 2.31 percent.
