Material handling and aerial rental specialist Equipment Depot has moved its Houston headquarters office into an 80,000-square-foot facility on 6.5 acres of land. All company headquarters personnel will move into the new facility, Equipment Depot announced on its website.

The new facility includes 20,000 square feet of office space and 60,000 square feet of service shop. The building is located near George Bush Intercontinental Airport in an important business section of the city.

“This move demonstrates our commitment to growing the Houston metro area and better servicing our customers,” said David Turner, president and CEO of Equipment Depot. “We look forward to continuing to help our customers maximize productivity and minimize operating costs, as we continue in our mission of being the best service organization in the industry.”

“We are excited about this move because this modern facility and large footprint will enable us to truly be a one-stop shop for our customers,” said Bryan Monk, vice president of the South Texas region. “For example, with over 6.5 acres, we can continually expand our rental fleet to offer customers more available equipment to meet their needs.”

Equipment Depot has 35 locations. It is part of Pon Holdings, one of the largest family-owned businesses in the Netherlands, and is No. 25 on the RER 100.
