DeWalt this week announced it is participating in the Call2Recycle promotion, a national battery-recycling program of the Rechargeable Battery Recycling Corp.

As part of the promotion, users who recycle their Nickel Cadmium (NiCd), Nickel Metal Hydride (NiMH) or Lithium Ion (Li-Ion) DeWalt power tool batteries at one of the company's 79 service centers will receive a $10 discount to put toward their next DeWalt battery purchase. Additionally, participants will have the opportunity to help Call2Recycle reach its campaign goal of collecting one million pounds of batteries by Nov. 30.

"It's an honor to partner with RBRC for the fourth time, and provide end users with a convenient way to make a responsible decision when it comes to battery disposal," said Jason McNeil, cordless product manager.

MyCall2Recycle is a call to action for consumers and professionals across the United States to participate in the Call2Recycle program, the only free rechargeable battery and cell phone collection program in North America. DEWALT partners RBRC to offer the Call2Recycle option to its end users.
