Makinex is introducing what it’s calling the world’s smallest and extremely portable 23kW 240V dual-phase generator, weighing only 573 pounds. The unit is designed to access tight spaces, fit through doorways, in and out of elevators and maneuver around jobsites. The generator is a third of the weight of most comparable generators, the company said, while delivering 23kW of 3-phase 240V power and 120V single-phase power.

The generator features a radial flux alternator that generates up to 15-percent more power per engine horsepower than convention units, the manufacturer says. With only three main components – engine, electrical panel and alternator – this generator offers simplified, reliable operation.

The 23kW is designed for flooring, concrete and polishing contractors, offering power 3-phase polishing and grinding equipment and single-phase vacuums. The machine supports high-amp applications like 240V mixing pumps and submersible pump, and can power electric mini-excavators or robots.
