Sany Tops 1,000 Machines Manufactured at Chakan, India, Factory

Sany India, a leading manufacturer of construction equipment, last month rolled out the 1,000th and 1,001st machines from its plant in Chakan, Pune, India. The 1,000th machine was an excavator and the 1,001st a transit mixer.

Sany India, a leading manufacturer of construction equipment, last month rolled out the 1,000th and 1,001st machines from its plant in Chakan, Pune, India. The 1,000th machine was an excavator and the 1,001st a transit mixer. The milestone was achieved in a span of nine months from January to September of this year.

“This achievement reaffirms Sany’s commitment to the Indian market,” said Deepak Garg, CEO of Sany Heavy Industries. “We have witnessed an increase in demand for construction equipment machines and with this milestone, we are confident to cater to this demand. We look forward to achieving more such milestones in the coming years, at the same time setting new benchmarks in quality standards that Sany stands for.”

The 1,000-plus machines manufactured at the plant this year include excavators, transit mixers, truck-mounted cranes and batching plants.

Sany Group has plants in the United States, Germany, Brazil and India. Sany India is a wholly owned subsidiary of Sany Heavy Industry Co., with global headquarters in Changsha, China.
