Aerial Maker Haulotte Boosts Revenue 10 Percent in First Quarter

French aerial work platform manufacturer Haulotte increased revenue 10 percent in the first quarter with €98.2 million (about U.S. $105.3 million), compared to $89.3 million in the first quarter of 2014. Equipment sales increased 2 percent excluding currency effects. Service revenue increased 10 percent excluding currency effects and rental activity decreased 2 percent at constant exchange rates.
Sales increased 18 percent in the Asia-Pacific area, while North America sales jumped 7 percent year over year. European sales increased 6 percent excluding currency impact. Latin America sales, however, slid 44 percent, excluding currency.
Haulotte Group expects revenue growth for 2015 to be close to 5 percent.
