Australian rental chain Kennards Hire is opening a branch in Rutherford, Australia, dedicated to the rail service industry, a first for the company. According to the Maitland Mercury, the new branch will create about 20 new jobs. Kennards Hire has branches in Australia and New Zealand.
Kennards Hire expects the federal government of Australia to spend AU $15 billion during the next three to four years to maintain the country’s 40,000 kilometers of rail lines.
The facility is expected to open in late September or early October.
