Riwal Poland is working with the street art foundation Urban Forms in Lodz, Poland, providing young artists with aerial work platforms to create art in the urban space. With approval from the city council of Lodz, four art projects have been completed since the collaboration started.
The Urban Forms Foundation focuses on broadly defined street culture and art aimed to revitalize the city and country. They also organize, promote and support sports and cultural initiatives. Riwal plans to continue to support the foundation with machines to enable work on large-scale paintings in Lodz and other cities in Poland.
“We delivered a JLG 660 machine to the city center of Lodz to support the creation of a modern mural,” said Wojciech Lisicki, Riwal’s country manager for Poland. “The artists were certified as operators through the Riwal training program. To additionally ensure that the work was done safely, we supplied the operators with safety harnesses. We are very proud that we can support young artists and in so doing, promote the popularity of street art as well. We look forward to the upcoming additional projects!”
