Cramo Finland Oy, the wholly owned subsidiary of Cramo Plc, signed an agreement with Lemminkainen Talo Oy Keski ja Lounaiis Suomi to acquire the company’s equipment fleet and depots in Turku and Tampere, Finland. According to the agreement, Lemminkainen will, in the future, rent all its requirement equipment fleet in central and southwestern Finland from Cramo. The agreement has been signed for five years.

“The new agreement is a continuation to the agreement signed earlier this year with the Lemminkainen Group, whereby Cramo acquired the entire construction machine fleet of Lemminkainen Talo Oy Ita – ja Pohjois Suomo, and signed a similar agreement,” said Tatu Hauhio, managing director of Cramo Finland. “The close co-operation with the constructors has helped us to develop our services and our machine fleet reserve to correspond even better to our customers’ needs. The signed agreement also strengthens regionally our market position.”

“This transaction and outsourcing agreement guarantee us a cost-effective use of modern equipment fleet in our construction projects in the future,” said Markku Moisio, managing director of Lemminkainen Talo Oy Keski ja Lounaiis Suomi. “In addition to this, we will have a comprehensive range of construction site services available when required. The arrangement releases capital for our core business and enables development of our operations in co-operation with Cramo to benefit our customers.”
