Australia’s Resource Equipment Ltd. Launches Operations in Indonesia
Australian equipment rental company Resource Equipment Ltd. has begun operations in Indonesia with a corporate office in Jakarta with a branch in the oil and gas exploration region of East Kalimantan. The company named Adam Flinn, an experienced executive from the Indonesian mining and oil and gas sectors as general manager. Flinn is particularly experienced in dewatering and heavy construction equipment, the company said.
Ray Ratumbanua has joined REL as senior manager of sales and marketing, a veteran of about 10 years experience in dewatering and specialist equipment rental services to the Indonesian mining and oil and gas sectors.
“The mining sector in Indonesia has significant scale to it with numerous large mines encountering heavy rainfall, resulting in an ongoing requirement for water management and dewatering solutions,” said James Cullen, chief executive of REL.
