IPAF Appoints Manager for Brazil

The International Powered Access Federation recently named Antonio Barbosa the country manager for Brazil.

The International Powered Access Federation recently named Antonio Barbosa the country manager for Brazil. This new appointment strengthens IPAF’s operations in the fast-growing markets in Latin America, where IPAF has an office in Chile.

Barbosa has more than 35 years of experience in sales, marketing and after-sales support. He has worked for recognized companies in the industry such as Caterpillar, Scania, Navistar International, Wirtgen and Sandvik. His experience extends across a range of segments including construction and earthmoving, transportation, mining, paving and materials handling. He has completed the IPAF operator course and obtained a PAL Card.

Based in São Paulo, Brazil, Barbosa will work together with Romina Vanzi, IPAF’s representative based in Santiago, Chile. Vanzi coordinates IPAF’s activities in Spain, Portugal and Latin America. IPAF currently has more than 20 members in Brazil and benefits from the active participation of these members in the IPAF Brazilian Country Council.
