Aggreko Powers Red Bull Air Race in New York

Aggreko last weekend supplied generators and air conditioning equipment for the New York edition of the Red Bull Air Race. This is the seventh time that Aggreko has been chosen to be part of this world championship series — most recently in Windsor, Canada, earlier this month, and in Rio de Janeiro in May. The New York edition of the event took place along the Hudson River and culminated in Jersey City, N.J.

More than 3 MW of power and 240 tons of air conditioning were supplied for the New York event — enough to power and cool 600 medium-sized homes. In addition, eight miles of cable were used to connect the equipment.
