Atlas Copco Acquires Two Specialty Rental Companies, a Compressor Distributor and a Chinese Manufacturer
Atlas Copco has acquired Perslucht Wilda B.V., an air compressor distributor headquatered in Woudenberg, Netherlands, one of a series of acquisitions made recently by the manufacturer. Perslucht Wilda was founded in 1979 and provides portable air compressors, generators, light towers and small electric compressors and related services.
The purchase price is not disclosed. The acquisition is expected to close during the fourth quarter 2024.
Earlier this month, Atlas Copco closed the acquisition of Integrated Pump Rental, a specialty rental provider of dewatering solutions in Johannesburg, South Africa, which provides fully outsourced dewatering solutions through the rental of pump and ancillary equipment. The company had revenues of €5 million in 2023. Integrated is now part of the Specialty Rental division within the Power Technique Business Area.
On the same day, Sept. 3, Atlas Copco finalized the acquisition of Generator Rental Services Ltd., a specialty power rental solutions company headquartered in Auckland, New Zealand. The company was founded in 1997 and provides specialty power and temperature control equipment. Its main customer groups are within the power utility, general industry and civil construction.
Generator Rental Services totaled €23 million in revenues in its latest fiscal year. The business has also become part of the Specialty Rental division within the Power Technique Business Area.
And earlier this month, Atlas Copco acquired Anhui NOY Technologies Co. Ltd., a Chinese company that manufactures helium leak detectors for use in the Chinese market. NOY is headquartered at its manufacturing location in Hefei City, Anhui Province, China. The company has become part of the Scientific Vacuum Division within the Vacuum Technique Business Area.
