SEATTLE — Sunbelt Rentals earlier last month acquired Super Rent, Redmond, Wash., a four-location rental company with two facilities in Redmond plus additional branches in Woodinville and North Bend, Wash.

Sunbelt already has a strong presence in the Seattle market with three Access Specialist locations, a general tool branch in Tacoma, and a recently opened start-up in Lynwood.

Sunbelt Pump & Power Services opened a branch in Kent in June. The acquisition of Super Rent gives the company 10 branches in the Seattle area.

“The addition of Super Rent blends well with our existing Sunbelt locations in nearby Kent and Lynwood and will greatly enhance our ability to serve Seattle-area customers,” said Earl Rose, Sunbelt's northwest regional vice president. “This expansion is consistent with our proven model of clustering multiple Sunbelt locations in large metropolitan markets.”

All four of the Super Rent store managers will continue to manage the branches for Sunbelt: Brent Anderson in the Redmond general tool location; Brad Jepperson in the Redmond heavy equipment branch; Keith Schwope in North Bend and Mel Fisher, Woodinville.

About 45 Super Rent employees will continue with Sunbelt.

Charlotte, N.C.-based Sunbelt Rentals is No. 5 on the RER 100. It now has 179 locations in 26 states.
