Ringhaver Equipment Co., Tampa, Fla., has named Steve O'Neil as heavy equipment sales rep at its Tarpon Springs branch. O'Neil was previously an account manager for the Caterpillar dealer's Ring Rent division, No. 28 on last year's RER 100.

Hyundai Construction Equipment, Elk Grove Village, Ill., has named John Coe as national service manager, heavy equipment, working with district managers in the field.

Terex Corp. has named Uri Toudjarov as sales manager, North America, for Terex Cranes and Terex Aerials, succeeding Linda Pruin, who has retired.

Georgia Foley has succeeded Morrie Halvorsen as executive director for the Specialty Tools & Fasteners Distributors Association, Elm Grove, Wis. Halvorsen retired, effective Jan. 1., after 22 years at the helm, during which STAFDA grew from 18 to more than 2,560 member companies.

Compaction America, Kewanee, Ill., has appointed Richard Forrest as territory manager for its west-central sales region, responsible for Hypac products.

Crane and lift manufacturer Grove Worldwide, Shady Grove, Pa., has named Ted Bratthauar (pictured) senior vice president, customer support.

Stone Construction Equipment, Honeoye, N.Y., has named Steve Miller as manager of the technical services department.

Time Condor, Waco, Texas, has named Rick Davidson (pictured) as regional sales manager, covering Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas and Louisiana. Time Condor also promoted Ahmad Akbarnia to plant manager of its truck mount facility.

Woods Equipment Co., Rockford, Ill., has named Tom Taylor to the newly created position of market manager, agriculture and turf business.

Omniquip Textron, Port Washington, Wis., has named James Wilcox as president of its Material Handling Technologies Division.

The Outdoor Power Equipment Institute, Alexandria, Va., has appointed William Harley as president and CEO, succeeding Dennis Dix when he retires at the end of March.

Scheu Products Co., Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., has named Ray Finkle as general manager.

Ransome Rents, Bensalem, Pa., has named David Honzo (pictured) and Bruce Martin as sales reps for its Allentown, Pa., and New Castle, Del., branches, respectively. Honzo was a sales rep with Equipment Supply Co., Burlington, N.J., now part of United Rentals. Ransome also named Robert Buker as assistant manager for the New Castle branch.

Houston-based Prime Equipment has promoted Lewie Williams to vice president of Prime Energy Systems, responsible for the Industrial Services Division. Williams, who joined Prime in 1983, was general manager of the division. Prime has also promoted James Turpin to vice president of human resources.

JCB Inc. has named Mike Chapman as president, replacing Denny Slagle. In addition, vice president of sales Gary Walter will head up an expanded national accounts group.

CNH Capital, Racine, Wis., has named Andrew Graves as president. Other key appointment include Frank Anglin as senior vice president; Robert Wagner as senior vice president and chief financial officer; and L. William York as senior vice president, international, and chief credit officer.

Upright Inc. has hired John Griffith to manage its boom-supported aerial work platforms. The Selma, Calif.-based lift manufacturer has also promoted Brian MacFarland to technical support supervisor; Bruce Campbell to manager of the field services division, and Larry Cooper to warranty manager.

Husqvarna Forest & Garden Co., Charlotte, N.C., has appointed David Perkins as director of U.S. power retailers and distributor sales. In addition, Kim Liechty, director of engineering, will head up the handheld product business unit, which includes chainsaws, landscape maintenance and industrial products. John Bailey has been named business unit manager for consumer, lawn and garden products. Don Roop, director of strategic products, will also take on the role of business unit manager for accessories.

Stens Power Equipment Parts, Jasper, Ind., has appointed Carolyn Craig as territory manager for California, and Tim Williams as territory manager for portions of Florida and Georgia.

Schiller-Prieffer, Southampton, Pa., has named Bill Owens as regional sales manager for its Little Wonder and Mantis power equipment lines. Owens was district sales manager for American Honda Motor Co.
