T.C.J. Asia Plc, a Thailand-based machinery and crane rental and sales company, has added forklifts and industrial vehicles from Italy to its fleet. The company was recently appointed the sole distributor of OM brand forklifts and industrial vehicles in Thailand, Laos, Cambodia and Burma by Italian forklift manufacturer OM Carrelli Elevatori.

T.C.J. Asia expects consolidated sales revenue this year to increase 10 percent compared with 726 million baht (about US $22.3 million) last year. The company expects to sell or rent 100 OM forklifts this year. About 30 percent of its income comes from sales and the rest from rental, according to managing director Songwoot Graipaspong.

Songwoot said the market for forklifts in Thailand was worth about 4 billion baht (almost US $125 million).
