More than 200 participants have registered to the European Rental Association’s 2011 convention, which will take place in Amsterdam from June 7 to 9 under the motto “Growth Again!” ERA expects close to 350 executives and representatives of rental companies, as well as national rental associations and suppliers to the industry to attend the event.

The ERA Convention will take place alongside the International Rental Exhibition, a trade show that will feature the participation of JCB, Terex Construction, Volvo, Wacker Neuson, Atlas Copco, Hilti, Haulotte Group, Ditch Witch, Godwin Pumps, Manitou, Result Group, Vermeer, Wynne Systems and others.

“A large number of participants to the convention have been registering particularly early this year, which shows that the ERA Convention is now the well-established annual meeting point of Europe’s rental industry,” said Michel Petitjean, ERA secretary general. “I am particularly pleased by the fact that companies are sending quite large high-level delegations to the convention and that we will welcome also delegations from outside the European Union, including the United States, Canada, Brazil, Norway and Russia. The content of the sessions as well as numerous networking opportunities offered during the convention with exhibitors of the International Rental Exhibition, will allow for an extensive exchange of experiences and knowledge, which will be greatly beneficial to attendees. I strongly encourage any person interested in rental in Europe to attend the convention.”
