Finning International last week named Michael Waites executive vice president and chief financial officer. Waites has more than 26 years of experience in senior financial roles in the transportation, oil and gas industries. For the past six years he has been chief financial officer at Canadian Pacific Railway and has been CEO of the U.S. network of CPR. He also served as chief financial officer at Chevron Canada Resources.
Finning is one of the world’s largest Caterpillar dealers, representing Cat in Western Canada, the United Kingdom, Chile, Argentina, Bolivia and Uruguay.
