True Value Co.’s rental division recognized its top suppliers at its recent Spring and Rental Market in Atlanta. True Value honored Bobcat, Husqvarna BlueBird and Schwarz Supply Source in the tool and equipment, lawn and garden and party/materials supplies categories respectively.
Companies honored with the 2012 Rental Supplier of the Year Award all contributed to True Value retailers’ success in a variety of ways. Each had an increase in sales last year, participated in True Value events including Markets and/or Demo Days, and provided special price offerings and training, as well as other services.
Bobcat, based in West Fargo, N.D., a global manufacturer of compact construction equipment such as front-end loaders, skid-steer loaders and more, was feted in the tools and equipment supplier category. True Value named Husqvarna Bluebird as its 2012 Lawn and Garden Supplier of the Year. Based in Charlotte, N.C., Husqvarna BlueBird operates in the rental and commercial turf maintenance markets worldwide.
Chicago-based Schwarz Supply Source was named True Value’s 2012 Party/Materials Supplier of the Year, offering a range of products including boxes, tape and packing materials.
