NES CEO Studdert Given Top Human Resources Association Award

The Human Resources Management Association of Chicago named Andrew Studdert, chairman and CEO of NES Rental its 2014 Leader of the Year, honoring a “Chicago-based business leader who has demonstrated the ability to execute leading edge human capital practices while realizing business strategy success.”

Studdert was selected by the HRMAC board of directors for his consistent focus on creating a culture of trust and care for the 1,100 employees of NES Rentals. He is also responsible for leading NES to improve operational and financial performance during his tenure. Studdert’s platform for leadership throughout his career is based on a culture of safety that “leads to engaged employees, high levels of customer satisfaction, operational efficiencies and improved shareholder value.”

“Andy Studdert has been instrumental in creating a people-centered work environment that both encourages and inspires the employees while accomplishing critical business strategies,” said Jeff Bucklew, chairman of HRMAC’s board of directors.

Studdert called the award “a wonderful recognition of the great company and team of employees we have become over the past 10 years.”

HRMAC’s premier event, Summit 2014 is the largest gathering of human resources professionals in the Midwest and includes presentations by business and industry thought leaders. Nearly 800 human resources professionals attended the event in Rosemont, Ill.
