Roger Brown and Ward Bushnell, two of the original founders of Genie, will deliver the opening address at the IPAF Summit this week in place of NES Rentals CEO Andy Studdert, who had to cancel his appearance because of pressing business commitments.
Brown and Bushnell, along with Bob Wilkerson, were the owners of Genie from the mid-70s until the sale of the company to Terex in late 2002. Brown and Bushnell will discuss key lessons from the history and formation of Genie and address leadership issues.
“While we are sorry that Andy will not be able to join us this year, we are delighted that Roger Brown and Ward Bushnell have agreed to step in at the last moment,” said Tim Whiteman, IPAF managing director.
“I very much regret that some new commitments make it impossible for me to address the IPAF Summit this year,” said Studdert. “I commend the event to everybody in this business and wish IPAF a successful event.”
