Fast-growing Durante Rentals has opened its seventh location in Brewster, N.Y. The 13-acre property is the company’s second in Putnam County and comes seven months after opening its first Putnam branch in Carmel, N.Y. The company’s headquarters facility is in Flushing, Queens, N.Y. It also has branches in the Bronx, Mt. Vernon, Elmsford, and West Nyack.
“With the purchase of our Carmel store back in December of 2015, and with the opening of our West Nyack store in April of 2016, we recognized the need for a northern hub to service Westchester, Rockland and Putnam counties, and found that Brewster was an ideal location to accomplish this,” said John Durante, president. “Our Brewster facility is truly a unique location as we can service several other prospective smaller stores in the Connecticut and Hudson Valley region. This opportunity allows us to expand our footprint greater than ever before.”

The Brewster yard features boomlifts, mini-excavators, utility vehicles, scissorlifts, rollers, telehandlers, skid-steer loaders and more, while the indoor showroom has chainsaws, cut-off saws, diamond blades, traffic safety products, accessories and more. The Brewster location will offer sales, parts and service for all makes and models of equipment and will be Putnam County’s exclusive Takeuchi dealer.
