Bobcat Co., which celebrates its 50th anniversary this year, last week made the second of 23 stops on its North American Road Tour at the American Royal Center in Kansas City, Mo.

RER editors were on hand at the event, which featured a traveling exhibit of historical Bobcat equipment, collectibles and memorabilia. The event also included product demonstrations and the Bobcat Square Dance, a choreographed routine featuring four Bobcat skid-steer loaders dancing like human square dancers.

Attendees had the chance to take home several major door prizes and were treated to a barbecue lunch. In addition, 10 prize winners from each tour stop will qualify as finalists for The Great Road Tour Giveaway and will be entered in a drawing to win one of two $50,000 contractor packages.

The North American Road Tour began May 17, in Knoxville, Tenn., and will end in mid-August with a homecoming event in Gwinner, N.D., and a Bobcat employee event in Bismarck, N.D.
