MEC Aerial Work Platforms announces Barry Lawson as its new marketing manager. Lawson has extensive knowledge in both marketing, sales and product development. In this role his primary focus will be leading the launch of new products, overseeing MEC’s website and social media platforms as well as organizing trade shows. Lawson comes to MEC with 20-plus years of experience working in the engineering and manufacturing industries.

Barry Lawson began his career working in the transportation industry in Texas before moving to California. In California, he worked for Pelco and then Pelco by Schneider Electric. His start was the field sales manager before being promoted to engineering manager and finally as the global marketing manager. Lawson’s marketing duties included international business development. Prior to joining MEC, he was the product manager for an agricultural company specializing in automated labeling technology.
