The Classen Pro Sod Cutter features a compact size and integrated rear swivel wheel designed for easy turning and superior maneuverability. The wheel also locks in place for straight-line cutting. A hydrostatic drive has been included for a smooth, consistent power flow. It offers a transport speed of up to 4.7 mph and powered reverse. The unit's advanced vibration dampening system is designed for operator comfort.
The cutter's standard 18-inch-wide blade can be replaced with 12-inch, 16-inch, 20-inch or 24-inch optional blade assemblies in a matter of minutes. (The 24-inch blade is available for HSC188 model only).
The integrated throttle/clutch control on the unit's handle is designed for simple operation; it goes idle and stops the machine's movement when released.
The blade placement at the center of machine ensures a more consistent cutting depth and adjusts to cut sod up to 2.5 inches deep. The cutting blade makes 20 cutting strokes per second and 1,200 per minute, design meant to yield cleaner, smoother results and increased sod cutting productivity.
Knobby tread drive wheels are designed for better traction and the elimination of dirt build up.
