Godwin Pumps offers the Godwin Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), which automatically vary electric motor speed to maintain wet-well level and discharge pressure. These variable-speed controls are designed to optimize system performance and increase efficiency and mechanical reliability by automatically starting and stopping using switches, transducers and remote signals, and protecting against over current and temperature, short circuit, under voltage and phase loss. The VFD monitors motor conditions such as speed, torque, voltage, current and power, and mitigates the effects of waterhammer from startup and shutdown of pumpsets.
