Magnum Products
Magnum Products' MLG line of mobile generators is available in sizes of 8, 15 and 20 kW for single-phase models and 25 kva for three-phase models. The MLG line will improve the ROI by lowering cost of acquisition by 25 to 30 percent, while providing the same rental rates as more expensive generators, according to the company. User-friendly and protective features include multiple, external convenience outlets — each with individual breakers — an externally mounted emergency stop switch, easy access to all service ports, and between 27 and 60 hours of run time on a single fill of diesel. A microprocessor controller is installed on all three-phase models, providing control and monitoring of all engine and generator functions, including auto start and shutdown. All models incorporate automatic shut downs for low oil/high temperature conditions and are protected with a start limit breaker that prevents the unit from starting while under load. In addition to the MLG line, the MMG line of mobile generators is also available for those who require sound levels below 70dB(A) in power ranges from 35 kVA through 425 kVA.

Wacker
Wacker's new portable generators are offered in eight models ranging from 2,500 to 6,600 watts. The GP line offers a compact design with a new heavy-duty, one-piece frame made from large diameter tubing wraps around all components offering protection. The central lifting eye folds down within the frame to allow for compact storage or stacking of the units. An oversized fuel tank allows for long uninterrupted operation. An auto-idle control with time delay on the larger units automatically reduces the engine to low speed, reducing fuel consumption, noise and wear on the connected electrical loads. The generators offer a central ground fault circuit interrupter on all receptacles including the 240-volt twistlock.

Robin Subaru
The Robin Subaru Silent Series generators — models R1700i, RG3200iS and RG4300iS (pictured) — feature advanced inverter technology to significantly reduce running sound. Robin Subaru inverter generators run the engine at a slower speed for low power use and automatically increase speed as more electrical power is required. Further sound reduction is achieved through the advanced reverse cooling design. All Silent Series generators come with a one-touch control system that allows all engine functions to be controlled with the turn of a dial. Additionally, when the dial is turned to the shutdown position, the control not only shuts off the ignition, but also disengages the fuel supply, preventing fuel leakage during transport.
