John Deere announced a new product selector tool designed to assist professional landscape contractors in choosing the best products for their business.
“A contractor’s fleet varies based on region, business type, and application,” said Steve Wilhelmi, John Deere tactical marketing manager. “The Product Selector Tool allows landscape contractors to research and customize a mower that meets these requirements all in one easy-to-use online platform.”
When using the tool, customers answer questions about the property they maintain and the specifications needed, including operator position, tasks, cutting width, fuel preference, and discharge preference. Based on their answers, the tool will then make recommendations from 44 John Deere commercial mowing offerings on which products would best suit their needs.
The user will then go to the local dealer and be better prepared to discuss and choose the equipment that they need.
