International rental giant Cramo has rebranded the operations of Theisen Baumaschinen, a large German equipment rental company it acquired in 2011. Thiesen has adopted the Cramo brand name as of Oct. 1. Thiesen operations in Austria and Hungary are also re-branding as Cramo.
“This is much more than a name change,” said Vesa Koivula, CEO of Cramo Group. “Theisen has been a well-known and respected player in the Central European rental market for many years. However, in many respects the Central European markets differ from the North European markets. By introducing the Cramo brand we are also introducing the Cramo rental concept with full range of products and services for the entire construction industry, for example, construction equipment, tools, access equipment and modular space, including high standard wooden modular space for office, school and day care purposes”.
“In many ways we are pioneering the German, Austrian and Hungarian rental markets,” added Steffen Hanus, head of sales at Cramo. “I am totally convinced that our existing customers, as well as many others in the Central European construction industry, will appreciate the new service level and experience what we promise them: A Great Day at Work.”
Cramo, based in Vantaa, near Helsinki, Finland, operates in 15 European countries with about 360 branches.
