Skyjack Recognizes Brazilian Customers with Skyfest in Brazil
Skyjack Brazil held an event it called Skyfest at its recently opened facility in Indaiatuba, Brazil to celebrate what it called a year that exceeded expectations. Skyjack used the event to show its commitment to the Brazilian market and to thank customers.
“Skyjack has enjoyed an enviable reputation for scissor-type product, largely based on their simple reliability, quality and solid performance,” said Skyjack president Brad Boehler in his welcoming remarks. “That has led to a situation in 2013 where we will manufacture our 250,000thmachine. A quarter of a million machines is something we are very proud of and an achievement that means we are the world’s leading scissor manufacturer. We look forward to expanding that reputation with our boom product.”
“In less than a year Skyjack has taken a leadership position in the market for scissor products in Brazil,” added Adriano Battazza, general manager of Skyjack Brazil. “For some time, Brazil has shown an interest in Skyjack products and a key part of our timing of the decision to come to the market has been to ensure that we supported the market and customers not only with well-designed and reliable products, but with the appropriate aftermarket support. I am pleased to say our parts inventory and delivery performance is such that we have in excess of a 95-percent same-day pick rate.”
At the event, Skyjack recognized more than 30 customers since 2012 with a series of banners with customer logos lining the walls of the facility. “We thought it was a nice way to recognize the partnerships we have with our customers,” said Battazza.
Skyjack is headquartered in Guelph, Ontario, Canada.
