After serving in the interim, the board of directors made this official following their board meeting in Calgary, Alberta, in September. With a wealth of experience in leadership, strategy, and member engagement, Misener brings a fresh and dynamic vision to the CRA.
Melanie has an impressive track record of driving organizational growth and fostering collaboration across diverse sectors. Her leadership will strengthen the CRA’s role as a vital resource for the equipment and event rental industries in Canada.
“We are thrilled to welcome Melanie Misener as our new executive director,” said Sheldon Fingler, president of the CRA board of directors. “Her expertise and drive for success make her the ideal choice to guide the association through its next chapter, focused on the needs of members and collaboration.”
As executive director, Melanie will focus on enhancing member services, expanding advocacy efforts, and leading strategic initiatives to support the evolving needs of the rental industry.
“I’m honored to take on this role at CRA and work alongside its dedicated members, partners and staff,” said Misener. “I look forward to building on the association’s strong foundation and helping drive meaningful progress for our industry.”
