Arnold Mabee is the new CEO of Circle 8 Crane Service. Circle 8 is a crane rental and lifting solutions provider founded in 2007 and headquartered in Corpus Christi, Texas, with facilities in Houston; Carthage and Odessa, Texas; and Clinton, Okla. The company rents a modern fleet of mobile cranes for its customers’ heavy lifting needs. Circle 8, a subsidiary of Ault Alliance, provides crane operators, engineering custom rigging and transportation services for oilfield, construction, commercial and infrastructure markets.

Phillip Bryson will continue with Circle 8 as president.

Mabee comes to Circle 8 after most recently serving as president of Sterling Crane, a diverse crane services company with nine branch locations in the United States, a modern fleet of more than 200 cranes and more than 225 employees. Mabee has more than 30 years of operational and senior level management experience in a variety of industries including mobile crane and heavy haul services, steel service centers and other industrial service businesses. Mabee has a history of improving profitability and growing businesses, including more than doubling revenue in his previous tenure at Sterling Crane.

“Circle 8 is a great company with an enormous opportunity in front of them, for which they are well positioned,” Mabee said. “I am excited to join the team and look forward to driving the business forward to its full potential alongside the Brysons.”

“We are very excited to have Arnold join the Circle 8 team, bringing a wealth of experience and network to the company,” said Phillip Bryson, president of Circle 8. “Arnold will be able to leverage the solid foundation that we have built at Circle 8 to grow our fleet and personnel, as well as to serve and expand our customer base. This is a very constructive step towards taking Circle 8 to the next level, and with his operational background, he fits in well with the team.”

“Arnold joining our team is a testament to the strength of our platform and opportunity to build a world class lifting services business,” said Chris Wu executive vice president of Ault Alliance and member of the Circle 8 board of directors. “Together in partnership with Phillip Bryson, we believe we have the key ingredients for success.”
