Perkins Engines Co. has added a dedicated position to develop and drive a go-to-market rental strategy and has named Andy Zuckerman global rental manager. Zuckerman, currently Americas Sales Director, has accepted the newly created post, and will have the responsibility to drive this critical segment to position Perkins brands as viable solutions for rental customers around the world.
“Andy is well-suited for this position with significant experience in key marketing and rental roles with our company and prior to joining our team,” said Jaz Gil, vice president of global sales, marketing, service and parts. “His vast rental experience makes him a great fit for this very important role.”
Ron Schultz has been named Americas sales director and will replace Zuckerman. Schultz will be responsible for industrial engine sales execution for Perkins-branded products within the Americas region. He was most recently aftermarket director and general manager of the global on-highway truck division of Caterpillar.
“Ron has an extensive background in marketing, distribution and sales with the company and will bring these great experiences to our Americas sales director role,” added Gil. “I am confident that Ron can step right in and help us in many ways as we serve customers and grow our brand in the Americas.”
The promotions are effective immediately.
