Compact equipment manufacturer Takeuchi U.S. has added Kirby-Smith Machinery to its dealer network, serving construction, paving, mining, pipeline, aggregate and industrial customers in Oklahoma and Texas. Founded more than 30 years ago in Oklahoma City, Kirby-Smith now has 10 locations in the United States with Takeuchi products available in six of its stores.

Kirby-Smith carries Takeuchi products in Oklahoma City and Tulsa, Okla.; Lubbock, Odessa, Amarillo and Abilene, Texas.

“Kirby-Smith has tremendous customer loyalty due to its strong service reputation,” said Kim Robinson, director of sales at Takeuchi U.S. “This along with taking an active role in our industries has led them to expounding throughout the South. We are looking forward to our partnership and know they will do a great job with the Takeuchi offering.”

“Takeuchi has a great product line and our customers will appreciate how they fully stand behind it,” said Ed Kirby, president of Kirby-Smith. “Their compact equipment opens up a new market for us that we were missing with landscapers and small utility contractors among others. We already have a lot of interest from customers and are looking forward to working with Takeuchi.”

Kirby-Smith will carry the full lineup of Takeuchi products, including excavators, skid-steer loaders, track loaders and wheel loaders. Kirby-Smith provides sales, rental and after-market support for Takeuchi products.

Kirby-Smith Machinery is No. 40 on the new RER 100.
