Imperial Crane purchased Liebherr Cranes during the recent Bauma trade fair in Munich, Germany. Imperial purchased an LTM 1300-6.2, a 350-ton capacity mobile crane from Ehingen, Germany, as well as two LR 1300SXs, a 300-tonnes capacity lattice boom crawler crane produced in Nenzing, Austria.
Also Imperial Crane is finalizing specification discussions for its purchase of the new LTM 1450-8.1, a 450-ton crane with VarioBallast, the adjustable radius counterweight that varies ballast radius from 7m to 5m. The LTM 1450-8.1 was also unveiled at the Bauma show.
The Bauma purchases were a follow-up to Imperial Crane’s five mobile crane purchases it made during the past few years.
“Imperial’s promise to our customers is to provide safety-centered lift solutions that include cranes and operators with unsurpassed experience and performance,” said B.J. Bohne, president and CEO of Imperial Crane Services. “The cranes we purchase from Liebherr help us deliver on our customer promise.”
Imperial Crane has more than 250 cranes in its crane rental fleet. The company is No. 33 on the RER 100.
