CNH Industrial is planning to lay off 80 full-time workers from its Fargo, N.D., plant, prairiebizmag.com is reporting. A CNH spokeswoman told prairiebizmag.com the cuts will begin this month and be completed by the end of April, adding that the cuts were in response to market conditions.
CNH Industrial produces Case and New Holland construction and agricultural equipment. The layoffs appear to be primarily in response to softness in the farm economy and a significant decline in net farm income.
