Getable, a leading app for ordering and tracking construction equipment, has raised $5 million to expand its services nationwide. The Series A financing was led by The Social+Capital Partnership, a Silicon Valley venture capital firm that will join Getable’s board of directors.
The funding round included participation from individuals at Ghilotti Brothers, Pacific Structures, Zachary Construction, DPR Construction, JJ Albanese, Stomper Co., and an investment from Darren Bechtel, a member of the Bechtel engineering and construction family and managing director of Brick & Mortar Ventures.

I’m thrilled to be involved as we scale this solution to be a de facto app for jobsites globally.”
Getable said it is rolling out its services nationwide. Now any contractor in the United States can download Getable’s free application to order, track and manage any piece of equipment used in the field, regardless of whether the equipment was originally ordered through Getable. This includes tracking company-owned fleet. The update allows contractors to log 100 percent of the assets represented on a project to get a more accurate picture of running cost, equipment status, activity history and location across all jobsite inventory.
“Getable has become the go-to app for bidding out equipment to third party rental companies, but this represents just a fraction of the total equipment physically on the jobsite,” said Tim Hyer at Getable.
The new release offers features that give contractors greater control over equipment decisions. Contractors can use Getable to order directly from the suppliers they prefer, whether based on relationship, negotiated pricing or volume-based incentives.
“We’ve learned that relationships can matter when it comes to certain pieces of equipment, so we want our app to support the real connections that exist in the offline world,” adds Hyer. “Technology offers the ability to easily connect networks of people, something Getable is doing for the construction equipment category.”
